By on July 12th, 2010

In a bid to increase the number of apps in the Market, Google has released a new product called App Inventor which will allow programmers and non-programmers to create mobile applications for Android powered devices.

Google Android App Inventor

Using the App Inventor software, users can create Android apps easily without having to actually know programming. App Inventor has a WYSIWYG (What You See IS What You Get) editor allowing users to add controls, media, animations and more to the Android apps.

App Inventor will also allow users to use Android’s text-to-speech capabilities to create interactive apps. Google has been testing the App Inventor in classrooms in the United States for over a year now and it has been quite successful.

If you are someone who has a app idea, you should definitely go and try out the App Inventor. You can also watch a video of the App Inventor in action embedded below.
