Apple has released the iOS 4.1 update for iPhone and iPod Touch. iOS 4.1 includes a new Game Center to provide users with a social gaming experience, iTunes TV show rentals and iTunes Ping (Read iTunes 10 Review).

In addition to that iOS 4.1 also includes HDR photography, which which automatically combines multiple exposures into a single HDR image. You can also upload HD videos to YouTube and MobileMe from iPhone 4. You can read about the new updates in iOS 4.1 by visiting this link.
iOS 4.1 is available as a free download for iPhone and iPod Touch, to update your firmware, connect your device to iTunes and click the “Check for Update” button if you are not prompted to upgrade.
If you have a jailbroken iPhone or jailbroken iPod Touch, you are advised to stay away from the update until the Dev Team comes out with a patch for iOS 4.1.
