Duke Nukem 3D Now Available In The Android Market

The original king of action is here! I am pretty sure nearly all of the TB readers must have played Duke Nukem 3D on their computer at least once in their lifetime. The game released in 1991, and has been everyone’s favorite since then. ¬†For the unknown, Duke Nukem is an in-your-face hero, and the game has a B-movie plot.

Now, this all time popular game is finally available for all Android gamers to enjoy on their handset or tablet. The game was already available for iOS, and it was just a matter of time before it was released for Android OS as well.

I installed the game on my phone, and gave it a try. Frankly, I was a bit disappointed. The controls of the game take up more than half the space on the screen of my SGS2. The controls of the game are absolutely crap. Its much better suited for the Xperia Play, which has a dedicated gamepad.

Unlike quite a few games released recently, Duke Nukem 3D is thankfully not a Tegra 2 exclusive title. The game runs on all multi-touch Android devices out there, and also supports Apps2SD.

The game costs $0.99 for Episode 1, with Episodes 2 and 3 available as an in-app purchase. Here is the Android Market link of Duke Nukem 3D.
