Dell Thunder Prototype Preview
The reviewers at Engadget have managed to get their hands on two prototype Dell Thunder smartphones. Both the prototypes are slightly different. The Thunder looks pretty stylish and is packed with features.
The Dell Thunder will have a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Qualcomm Adreno graphics and 512 MB RAM. It will also offer 512 MB ROM with up to 32 GB expandable memory and 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB connectivity. It also has a GPS transceiver with A-GPS and a 1400 mAh battery.
Both the prototypes had a 4.1 inch touchscreen display but one had a resolution of 800 x 600 while the other had a resolution of 1280 x 768. Also, one of them was running a developer build of Android 1.6 Donut while the other ran Android 2.1 Eclair.



The Dell Thunder will have probably have CDMA and GSM variants.
