Dell Streak 7 Wi-Fi Launched in the UK; Priced at £299

The Dell Streak 7 Android tablet was announced at CES 2011 with many other Android tablets. It was launched in February in the US but was priced quite high.

Today, Dell has launched the Dell Streak 7 Wi-Fi in the UK. It is available online at Dell’s website and is priced at £299. It comes with a Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor and 16 GB internal storage. It has a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It has two cameras – a 5 MP primary camera with autofocus and flash and a 1.3 MP secondary for video calling. It also has support for Adobe Flash 10.1.

It comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR. It comes with the Dell Stage UI and Android 2.2 Froyo. It also has GPS and will likely be upgraded to Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

It hasn’t been released in the US yet. The Dell Streak 7 Wi-Fi + 4G version is available though, for $199 with contract.
