Yesterday RIM unveiled its latest smartphone named BlackBerry Bold 9700. This smartphone is BlackBerry’s first 3G enabled handset. It is also known as Bold 2 and Onyx. The pricing of this amazing device were announced today. BlackBerry Bold 9700 would be available on Rogers, Bell, AT&T and T-Mobile in North America and Vodafone UK in Europe.

AT&T and T-Mobile customers will have to shell out $199.99 for a BlackBerry Bold 9700 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. Mobile phone users in Canada will have to pay $299.99 for the device in case they plan on purchasing it from Rogers with a three-year contract on a service plan that starts at $45 per month.
Vodafone UK users will have to pay monthly price plans from £35 with 600 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited BlackBerry Internet Service, unlimited Vodafone Mobile Internet and broadband. This handset is expected to be launched during early November.
