Amidst all the hoopla surrounding the next-gen iPhones and Android devices, RIM (Research in Motion) has probably been feeling left out. But, fear not; the Blackberries are still very much in the smartphone wars. TheStreet has let it slip that RIM will soon announce two new Blackberry handsets.
The handset pictured on the left is the Blackberry Bold 9650. This CDMA (US EV-DO Rev A) device will feature a 3.2MP camera, GPS, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and a trackpad. When used outside USA, Bold will automatically fall back to UMTS/HSPDA. Expect it to be available on Sprint soon.
The other handset is a GSM only device dubbed the BlackBerry Pearl 3G. Once again very little is known about this device, other than that it will boast a 3.2MP camera, a trackpad, GPS and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi.
Stay tuned for more updates.
