After rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the unlocked Atrix 2, Motorola and AT&T have started rolling out the update for the carrier’s variant of the handset. Motorola was expected to roll-out the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Atrix 2 sometime in the previous quarter, but later on delayed it.

The Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Atrix 2 brings with it a new magazine like system UI, Holo theme for apps, a new keyboard, enhanced Voice Actions, inbuilt data monitoring tool, face unlock and much more. There should also be a general improvement in the system responsiveness and stability.
The update is being rolled out via OTA and should be available to all AT&T Atrix 2 users within a couple of weeks. Users can also manually pull the update by going to Settings -> About Phone and then tapping the ‘System Updates’ option.
