Last year, AT&T launched the powerful HTC Aria smartphone. This handset originally runs on the Android 2.1 (Eclair) OS. Finally after waiting for months, HTC Aria users has a reason to cheer. AT&T recently released the much awaited Android 2.2 FroYo update for the HTC Aria smartphone. It is the second Android powered device to get the Android 2.2 FroYo update on the AT&T’s network.
The Android 2.2 update will allow HTC Aria users to access more than 150,000 apps from the Android Market and the ability to load apps on the MicroSD card. It also comes with the Flash Player 10.1, enhanced web browsing, Bluetooth voice dialing, GPS enhancements, improved Microsoft Exchange support, Wi-Fi hotspot and more.
To check for update on your HTC Aria smartphone, simply enter *#*#checkin#*#* (*#*#2432546#*#*) on the dialer keypad and check whether the Android 2.2 FroYo update is available for your handset. It might take some days for the update to be available on your smartphone. Just make sure, your phone is fully charged and connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot.
