AT&T HTC One VX Unveiled; Takes Mid-Range Handsets To The Next Level
By on October 3rd, 2012

Along with the HTC One X+, HTC announced a new mid-range phone for the AT&T network, the One VX. The  VX is an interesting handset packing a 4.5-inch Super LCD2 with qHD (960×640) resolution, 1GB of RAM, and Qualcomm S4 Plus MSM8930 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz and coupled with Adreno 305 GPU.

Other specs of the One VX include 8GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a 1810mAh battery, a 5MP BSI snapper at the back with F/2.0 aided by an LED flash, a front-facing VGA camera and the usual bunch of connectivity features and sensors.

The HTC One VX will be available exclusively on AT&T’s network in the United States, and will launch with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich on-board. The press release from HTC does not mention anything about the pricing or the availability of the handset except that it should be available “in the coming months”. Since the One VX is a mid-range handset, it should not cost more than $49 or $99 on a two-year contract with AT&T.
