Apple working on a new social app – iGroup

It seems that Apple is working on yet another social networking app. This one is called iGroup.
iGroup is meant for both iPhone and MobileMe. This app basically allows multiple users( a group of friends for example) to share thoughts if they’re attending a common event. It also allows users to check out the virtual positions of all of his friends in the event, though the details as to how this is achieved is not yet quite clear.
Once you’re in this app, you’ll be able to invite your friends to join a group and they’ll be able to see all the updates that you make.
Apple has also focused strongly on the security of this app. It uses a very intricate cryptographic key generation system which ensures complete security of all it’s functions.
All in all, it promises to be a great app and I think that Apple will make it a hit as it’s the fourth time Apple is going for social networking with it’s app.
