Apple Goes Live With iOS 4.2

Apple has now released iOS 4.2 to owners of iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches. The new update to iOS 4.2 brings AirPlay and, the previously pay-to-play feature, Find My Phonefrom MobileMe to all devices. The major changes are aimed towards the iPad, bringing multi-tasking and Game Center, as well as application folders, Safari search and an improved mail experience.

Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, says iOS 4.2 makes the iPad a completely new product, just in time for the holiday season.. This new update aligns all iOS devices to the same version, and should help with a unified experience across the mobile product line.
