Android 2.2 "FroYo" To Have USB Tethering and Wi-Fi Hotspot Capability
By on May 13th, 2010

Google has been making a lot of advances with the OS, with Android 2.1 making a huge impact with users, however, Android 2.2 aka "FroYo" is bound to blow away users thanks to it being almost 450% faster than Android 2.1 as reported by people who have access to the OS.

Android 2.2 FroYo Tethering Wifi Hotspot

If that was not enough, here is another scoop that TechCrunch came across which will make your smile widen a lot more. Android 2.2 FroYo will have USB Tethering so that you can share you mobile internet connection with your laptop, along with the ability to act like a Wi-Fi hotspot, so that you can then share your mobile internet connection with other devices.

This is definitely good news and hopefully users will get to use the above features with their devices shortly after Google unveils FroYo at the Google I/O conference later this month.
