Android Powered Motorola Citrus Coming To Verizon Tomorrow

Verizon Wireless recently announced the availability of the entry-level Motorola Citrus smartphone. Motorola Citrus is powered by Android 2.1 Operating System and it allows you to access more than 100,000 apps from the Android Market. This handset is made from 25 percent post-consumer recycled plastic, certified CarbonFree and it is PVC and BFR free.

Motorola Citrus features a 3 inch touchscreen display, 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, on-screen QWERTY keyboard, Swype keyboard, 3 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, 3G Connectivity, Motoblur, Backtrack, Full HTML Web browser, preloaded with Bing Search and Bing Maps, quick access to Web apps and services such as Facebook, Gmail, Google Talk, YouTube and much more.

The packaging of this handset is made from 80 percent post-consumer recycled paper and the user manual is made using 100 percent recycled paper and soy-based ink. Motorola Citrus will be available from tomorrow for $49.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
