Android + LG + Sprint = LS680
By on December 28th, 2009

Rumors have been hitting the field pretty strongly this week. Here’s another one to add to them. LG may be (and it’s a BIG ‘may be’) turning out a new Android handset – LS680.

Now, with the cover blown, let’s get down first to the facts. We know for sure that LG is planning on  a very big event – CES 2010. We also know that LG is co-hosting this show together with Sprint. Lastly,  we know that LG is planning on releasing a WiMax smartphone in that event.

There were talks that this could be an android device but until now, there was no conclusive proof. But now, BoyGenius has managed to nab a screenshot of Sprint’s internal system that shows the Android-packing LG LS680 as an upcoming phone.

This is where solid facts end and the speculations  begin. We don’t know for certain the exact specs, exact OS, even the exact date of release of this phone. It may be that this phone would not be released in the CES at all.

So keep your finger’s crossed and wait patiently with all your hope for the CES 2010 (7th – 10th Jan, 2010) to surprise you in this year of the Android.
