Android 2.3.4 Rolling Out To Nexus One Owners
Recently, we posted that the Android 2.3.4 update is scheduled to roll out over the next few weeks. Nexus S is the first smartphone to receive the update, followed by the original Google phone, the Nexus One. The new Android 2.3.4 update brings the much awaited voice and video chat to the Google Talk, along with some bug fixes and optimizations. This update was expected to roll out after few weeks, but the lucky Nexus One owners have already started receiving this update.

The image posted above, clearly shows the Android version 2.3.4 on the Nexus One smartphone. Even though, the new update brings the much awaited voice and video chat to the Google Talk, Nexus One owners will not be able to enjoy the video chat with their friends, since this device does not have a front-facing camera. On the other hand, the Nexus S owners have already started using the video chat on their Nexus S smartphone.
Some of the Nexus One owners have complained about the loss of accuracy while using the phone’s GPS application after Android 2.3.3 was installed. But the new Android 2.3.4 update improve the battery life of the device along with improved accuracy for the phone’s location tracking services.
