Redsn0w Updated to Fix iBooks Issues After iOS 4 Jailbreak

If you have been facing problem after jailbreaking your iPhone running using redsn0w, you might have faced issues with the iBooks application from Apple to read e-Books.

redsn0w_iphone_3g_multitasking_wallpaper_enable

If you are someone who has been facing issues with the iBooks app, the dev team has released a new redsn0w update version 0.9.5b5-4. To fix the issue, download redsn0w 0.9.5b5-4 from here for Mac OS X or Windows and re-run the redsn0w jailbreak for iPhone 3G or iPod Touch 2G.

Please note that you should de-select the option to Install Cydia as it was already installed with the earlier iPhone jailbreak, so you do not have to install it again.

    does not work with ipod touch 2, the redsn0w doesn't read the firmware.

    Have sucessfully fixed iBooks issue with latest beta, but note that many have found 0.9.5b5-4 breaks MMS.

    Can confirm this fault after jailbreaking with 0.9.5b5-4.
