iOS 4.1 beta was released yesterday and a iOS 4.1 jailbreak for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G is already possible through redsn0w 0.9.5 beta 5. However, jailbreaks for iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3G is not yet available.

However, according to @iH8sn0w, who is the developer behind sn0wbreeze, sn0wbreeze 1.8 will be able to jailbreak iOS 4.1 Beta on iPhone 3GS, however, you will require to have a pre-jailbroken phone running iOS 4. Though the date of the sn0wbreeze 1.8 iPhone jailbreak is not yet know, it should definitely be out in the next few days.
iOS 4.1 is still a beta software and there will be a lot of changes before Apple releases the final product to users. In addition to that, they have also released iOS 4.0.1 to fix signal bars issue, but users are advised to stay away from it for a while till the Dev Team work on a fix to jailbreak iPhone and unlock iPhone.
If you haven’t upgraded to iOS 4.1 yet, you might also want to backup your iOS 4 SHSH blogs, before Apple stops making them available so that you can downgrade iOS 4.1 to iOS 4 in future. We will keep you posted when a new jailbreak for iOS 4.1 becomes available, stay tuned and subscribe to our Mobile News to know when it happens.
