Want to install a generic Bluetooth driver provided by Microsoft instead of the one created by the vendor? A handy called Bluetooth Driver Installer will allow you to install and use the generic drivers provided by Microsoft.

Why do this? Sometimes vendor drivers do not work properly on Windows, installing the generic driver usually fixes the problem.

Does anyone know how to get this working with hardware profiles ?

I have two bluetooth adapters and would like to use this generic driver for my “Hardware Docked” profile as well as my “Hardware Docked” user account.

However the second adapter keeps getting re-enabled and it wont stay disabled after I reboot.

I’ll try and provide some more information as it becomes available.

    Thanks
    David
