I'm Feeling Lucky

We all knew that Google actively promoted Firefox on their home pages for  quite some time, but it came to us as a surprise that Yahoo has also begun promoting Firefox on its home page.

We came across this message while browsing Yahoo.com home page with Opera and could replicate the same with Internet Explorer and Safari.

The download link leads to the page http://downloads.yahoo.com/firefox/ which allows users to download Firefox 3 customized for Yahoo.

So who else are we going to see promoting Firefox now?

I promote Firefox on my site. IE users get a message suggesting they upgrade to Firefox, and a nice link to Firefox download. I’m tired of designing my web sites twice – once for Firefox and again to fix all IE bugs.

@Kevin Quite true, browsers should follow a single set for all web standards

Note: We discourage users from using keywords in their names while posting comments, most of them get caught by spam, also it really would be more fruitful in knowing people who comment by their real name, rather than by using a name no one relates to. In future we reserve the right to delete comments from users using a name other than their own.
