Opera Unite Reinvents Browsers, Turns A Browser Into A Web Server

I have been using Opera [1] for quite sometime now and I must say that they have been doing a nice job with the development of Opera, with the introduction of Turbo and many more features in recent past.
Opera has now taken it a step further with Opera Unite, a really interesting way to browse the internet making the browser act as both a server and a client on a network.
With Opera 10, we are introducing a new technology called Opera Unite, radically extending what you are able to do online. Opera Unite harnesses the power of today’s fast connections and hardware, allowing all of us to help define the future landscape of the Web, one computer at a time.
In a traditional web server setup on home networks you will have a firewall device that acts as a go between your devices and external web servers.

With Opera Unite no configuration is needed, the Web server initiates a connection to the proxy, which uses this to pass information back about incoming requests.

Opera Unite is basically a web server running inside the browser that will allow you to easily share content by installing services developed for Opera Unite.
Opera Unite allows you to easily share your data: photos, music, notes and other files. You can even run chat rooms and host entire Web sites with Opera Unite. It puts the power of a Web server in your browser, giving you greater privacy and flexibility than other online services.
