Motorola Milestone and Xperia X10 are coming to India and they will be hitting the shelves sooner than you expected. Xperia X10 has been a long time coming, but the wait is almost over. Get ready Sony Ericsson fans, because Xperia X10 will be available as soon as next Friday or 26th March.

Xperia X10 is Sony Ericsson’s flagship Android device. It boasts of unique features like Mediascape and Timescape and is powered by a meaty 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Pricing has not yet been confirmed. However, X10 is expected to sell for around Rs 30,000 ($660 approx.).

It is not just Xperia X10; a plethora of other Android phones are also coming to India. Motorola Milestone (known in USA as Droid) should be released on March 22. Once again, the Indian launch price has not been confirmed but it should not be more expensive than Xperia X10. Although India users have had to wait for a long time, the good news is that Milestone will be shipping with Android 2.1.

I just spoke to the local dealer here in Hyderabad. It's releasing on 28th here. Of course, that doesn't have to be the case for the whole country. I'm expecting Delhi to get it by 26th.
