WishTel Launches IRA Thing 2 Android 4.0 Tablet In India For Rs.6,500

WishTel is an Indian brand known for manufacturing low-cost Android tablets. Previously, the company has launched entry level tablets such as IRA and IRA Thing. WishTel recently launched the Android powered IRA Thing 2. It is the world’s first tablet to support 23 native Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, etc. This device runs on the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System.

WishTel IRA Thing 2 is designed and manufactured in India. This device comes with the TV app which allows you to watch more than 120 TV channels across various genres of entertainment, sports, kids, news, music, regional and much more. On the other hand, The E-News app allows you to access latest news from over 55 multi-liguistic newspapers from across India. Sadly, the battery is reported to last only 4 hrs.

WishTel IRA Thing 2 features a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display, sporting a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 1.5 GHz processor, Android OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video playback, full HD (1080p) video playback, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory, MicroSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, HDMI, Google Play Store and a 3000 mAh battery.

WishTel IRA Thing 2 is available in black, red, yellow, pink, blue and white colors. The retail package is bundled with HDMI cable, wireless headphone and WLAN to USB port cable. WishTel IRA Thing 2 comes with a price-tag of just Rs.6,500 (approx. $115). This device will complete with other entry-level Android tablets such as Karbonn Smart Tab 1 and Micromax Funbook in the Indian market.
