Dual SIM phones have taken off in a huge way in India. After all, who would want to carry multiple phones. One for work use and one for personal use? Spice Mobile, a telecom company from India has launched M7070, a cheap mid-range phone with Dual SIM capabilities.
Spice M7070 will be sold at Rs. 7999 (~173$) in India, and comes with a 5MP camera with 8x digital zoom, and features such as auto focus and face detection. The phone also has an ability to capture videos.
For a camera phone with Dual SIM, that is much better than getting a digital camera, which is usually sold around the same price. The biggest selling point of the phone is only the camera and the dual SIM capabilities. Other than that, you will find the features similar to any other mid-range phone in India.
M7070 has support for Bluetooth and EDGE, however, it misses crucial support for Wi-Fi. Nevertheless, it is not a smartphone, so expecting such features from it would be trivial.
Currently, there is not much information available about the sale date of this phone, and it is shown as a upcoming model on the Spice website.
