Sony Xperia Neo L Up For Pre-Order In India For Rs.18,499

Earlier this year, Sony unveiled the Xperia S, Xperia P, Xperia U and Xperia Arc S smartphones in the NXT series. However, these smartphones are shipped with the old Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System. The Sony Xperia Neo L is the company’s first smartphone which runs on the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System. This mid-range device comes with 4 inch display, 1GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera and so on.

The specs of this device is quite similar to the prviously launched Neo V. The only difference is a large display and 4 hardware buttons on the bottom of the device. Flipkart, a popular online retailer is currently taking the pre-order of the Xperia Neo L. This handset is scheduled to release by the end of this month.

Sony Xperia Neo L features a 4 inch touchscreen display, sporting a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System, Xperia Timescape, 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with Flash, 16x digital zoom, Face detection and Geotagging, HD (720p) video recording and playback, VGA front-facing camera for video calls, DLNA Certified, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity and so on.

Other features include a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio with RDS, 3D surround sound, Stereo Bluetooth with A2DP, Native USB tethering, PlayNow service, Google Play, GPS with A-GPS, Micro USB support, 1 GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, 512 MB RAM, Wi-Fi Hotspot functionality, up to 8 hrs of talk-time, up to 410 hrs of stand-by time and a 1320 mAh battery.

Sony Xperia Neo L comes with a price tag of Rs.18,499. Flipkart is selling the device in both white and black variant.
