Samsung Omnia W Price Drops To Rs.15,200 In India

Last year, Samsung announced the powerful Samsung Omnia W smartphone. This handset runs on the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Operating System and it comes with a 3.7 inch Super AMOLED display as well as a 1.4GHz processor. Samsung Omnia W competes with the Nokia Lumia 710 in the Indian market. Nokia has already reduced the price of the Lumia 710 from Rs.18,999 to Rs.15,499. Now, Samsung is trying to increase the sales of Omnia W by follow in the footsteps of Nokia.

Samsung Omnia W features a 3.7 inch Super AMOLED display, sporting a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 1.4 GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with HD (720p) video recording and playback, VGA front facing camera for video calls, 512MB RAM, 8GB internal memory and more.

Other features include a 3.5 mm headset jack, Stereo FM Radio with RDS, People Hub, Picture Hub, Games Hub, Music and Video Hub, Office Hub, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, Zune player, Marketplace Hub, 25 GB of Windows Live Skydrive storage and a 1500mAh battery.
