Samsung recently launched two new messaging phones in India. The Samsung Chat 332 and Chat 335 comes with convenient messaging features such as QWERTY keypad, mail, instant messenger and native SNS clients. This handset allows you to keep your friends updated via. Facebook and Twitter on the go. Chat 332 and Chat 335 also features an optical trackpad, Active Sync (Push Mail App) and the Smart Homescreen, where you can easily create shortcuts, buddy lists and live ticker feeds from Twitter and Facebook.

Announcing the launch, Mr. Ranjit Yadav, Country Head, Mobile & IT, Samsung India Electronics stated, Consumers are increasingly wanting to stay connected with friends and family through SNS, IM and messaging while being on the move. These new qwerty phones from Samsung meet their needs through convenient messaging features and at the same time offer differentiated features like Optical track pad, ActiveSync or the Dual SIM Standby feature (Chat 322) that make them stand out from other messaging phones.

Samsung Chat 322 is the company’s first messaging phone to offer a QWERTY keypad with Dual-SIM standby. This handset offers a touch sensitive optical trackpad for scrolling and navigation and convenient QWERTY keypad for easy and fast message input. It features a 2.2 inch LCD display, 1.3 megapixel camera, 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio, ActiveSync, SNS clients, 45 MB internal memory, up to 12 hours talktime, up to 588 hours stand-by time and a 1000 mAh battery. This handset comes with a price tag of Rs. 4,990.

Samsung Chat 335 features a 2.4 inch LQVGA TFT LCD display, QWERTY keypad, optical trackpad, advanced SNS apps, Wi-Fi connectivity, 2 megapixel camera, 3.5 mm audio jack, 8 GB expandable memory, up to 14 hours talktime, 1000 mAh battery and more. The Find Music feature in this handset helps you in identifying music playing from any source for the artist, song name etc. Samsung Chat 335 is the slimmest QWERTY phone available in the market. This handset comes with a price tag of Rs. 5,800.
