Reliance 3G Tab Launched; Runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread
We had reported that Airtel was planning to launch its Android tablet – the Beetel Magiq – just a couple of weeks back. The Beetel Magiq was supposed to be priced at Rs 8,900, making it one of the cheapest Android tablets in India.
Today, Reliance announced the launch of its own tablet – the Reliance 3G Tab.

The Reliance 3G Tab is a budget Android tablet which runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It will sport a 7 inch display, presumably with a capacitive touchscreen and a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
It will have 512 MB RAM and will likely come with a 1 GHz processor, like the Beetel Magiq. It weighs 389 gms and is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab when it comes to dimensions.
It will sport a 2 MP camera, and a lower resolution secondary camera for video calling. It comes with support for 3G, as well as GPS. It supports up to 32 GB microSD cards.
Coming to the best part, the Reliance 3G Tab is priced at just Rs 12,999, which makes it one of the cheapest Android tablets in India. It will also come with discounted 3G plans, which you can check out below.

“Reliance 3G Tab is being launched today in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata and will be available in Reliance World and Reliance Mobile stores across the 13 3G circles in the next few days,” said the official press release from Reliance.

Its actually ZTE Lite rebranded and there is no Multitouch suppot. Also processor performance is very poor. Just hope if it comes with several tweaks… RELIANCE BEST OF LUCK…
what about its net surfing facilities
I’d want to wait till the specs are fully confirmed. However, at this price, I’m ready to accept 800 mhz processor
Superb tab and value for money.great price.reliance speed is superb.so u need not worry about putting other SIM and u get 5gb at re 600 a month(7000for 1yr).all things can be done.app market is fully accessible.i have downloaded many.one who wants a good camera in a tab of this type is a fool.u don’t need a 8 mp cam in a tab and pay 30000 .the tablet looks very good.resolution of480:800 is manageable in 7 inch screen .there is multi touch .only thing i dint like is mere inequality of the thickness of the black borders on the length side.got it 10 days back very happy.
