Aircel has launched a new value added service dubbed Music Connect, which offers full length songs to Aircel subscribers. Music Connect features a wide selection of Songs in English and Hindi as well as regional languages like Bengali, Marathi, Guajarati and Tamil.

Aircel users can subscribe to Music Connect either by dialling the toll-free number 543219 or by logging into the website aircelmusicconnect.com. Similarly, users can listen to songs of their choice either by browsing to the Music Connect portal or by dialing 543219.

Music Connect also features social network integration. It is available as a Facebook app and is capable of automatically updating your status on Facebook and Twitter. Incidentally, last week Aircel had introduced Facebook updates through SMS. The strong focus on improving its social networking features is a obviously an attempt by Aircel to woo the youth.
