Motorola Razr Maxx Launched In India For Rs.31,590

Earlier this week, we posted that Motorola will soon launch the much-awaited Motorola Razr Maxx in India. This handset was already up for pre-order at Infibeam from last week. Today, Motorola officially launched the powerful Motorola Razr Maxx in India. This device was originally announced and showcased as the ‘Motorola Droid Razr Maxx’ at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 in Las Vegas. It offers continuous talk-time of more than 18 hours straight on a single charge, thanks to the 3300 mAh battery.

Motorola Razr Maxx features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display, sporting a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS (upgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS), 8 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash, HD (720p) video recording and playback, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity and so on.

Other features include a 3.5 mm headset jack, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of ROM, 11.5GB user available internal memory, Micro SD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, GPS with AGPS, Bluetooth 2.1, micro USB, HDMI out, FM Radio, Google Play Store, up to 18 hours of talk-time, up to 15.8 days of stand-by time and a 3300 mAh battery.

This handset will ship with the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System. However, the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update will arrive soon after the launch. The Motorola Razr Maxx comes with a price tag of Rs.31,590 (approx. $565). This handset will go on sale from June 21, 2012 in India.
