LG Optimus GT540 Launched in India; Priced at Rs 12990
LG hasn’t had much success yet with its Android lineup. It has made bold claims that its upcoming tablet will be better than the iPad but I think all of us know what the odds of that are.
It has had the GW620 QWERTY Android phone available in India since some time now, but today onwards, even the new LG Optimus GT540 is available in India. It has been launched at a price of Rs. 12990.
It won’t win any awards for design or performance, but has decent specifications and offers a nice budget Android option. However, I would bve wary of buying any Android 1.6 phone now, especially when Android 2.1 options like the Samsung Galaxy 3 and the HTC Wildfire are available already.
