LG Optimus 3D and HTC EVO 3D are the only Android powered 3D smartphones currently available on the earth. LG Optimus 3D is the first smartphone, featuring a glasses free touchscreen display and a dual rear camera for 3D video recording. LG Optimus 3D is the first 3D smartphone launched in India. It runs on the old Android 2.2 (Froyo) Operating System, but the manufacturer has already promised to roll out the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update, later this year. This handset is capable of recording 3D videos in HD (720p) and full HD (1080p) videos in 2D, thanks to the 5 megapixel dual-lens camera.
