Intex Launches The Tri.Do Triple SIM Phone

Intex recently launched a new triple SIM phone in India, the Intex Tri.Do. This handset is useful for those, who travels a lot and need different SIM for different purpose. The Intex Tri.Do is a bar style, Java based phone that can hold 3 SIM cards (GSM+ GSM+CDMA). Intex has first launched its triple SIM phone in 2009. The Intex Tri.do is the company’s third triple SIM, which is an upgrade in terms of longer battery life and useful multimedia features.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Rajendra Gupta, GM- Telecom, Intex Technologies said, The multi-SIM segment is increasingly grabbing a major pie of the total market reflecting a huge demand and utility. Having sensed this quite early, Intex was the first one to introduce a Triple-SIM phone and now it aims to build on the concept by expanding the product-assortment with thoughtfully designed products offering convenience and utility at a highly affordable price.

The Intex Tri.Do features a 2.2 inch TFT screen with 65K colors, 1.3 megapixel camera which can also be used as a webcam, audio player, video player capable of playing MP4 and 3GP files, 3.5 mm jack, mobile tracker, Bluetooth, phonebook with 1000 entries, dual memory card slots with up to 16 GB each, Answering Machine, Auto Call Record, Games, up to 7 hrs talk time, up to 300 hrs stand-by time and a 1000 mAh battery.

The Intex Tri.Do supports both English and Hindi and works as a modem, for web-surfing on your computer. This handset comes with a price-tag of Rs.3,750. You can purchase this handset from more than 15,000 distributors and resellers outlets, 80 INTEX SQUARES and on Home Shop 18 shopping channel.
