Intex Launches Android Powered Dual-SIM Aqua 4.0 Smartphone In India

Intex recently launched the Android powered Aqua 4.0 smartphone in India. It is basically an entry-level smartphone with dual-SIM functionality. Intex Aqua 4.0 will be shipped with the old Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) Operating System and it won’t be upgraded to the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS. This handset is specially designed for students and young professionals, who are planning to upgrade from their feature phone to an entry-level smartphone without burning a hole in their pocket.

Intex Aqua 4.0 features a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, sporting a resolution of 480 × 320 pixels, 800 MHz processor, Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) Operating System, 3 megapixel rear camera, VGA video recording and playback, 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera, Mobile tracker, GPRS/ WAP and so on.

It also comes with the usual 3.5 mm headset jack, FM with recording, Bluetooth, 512 MB ROM, 131 internal memory, MicroSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, G Sensor, Proximity and Light Sensor, Auto call record, social networking apps, Wi-Fi 801.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, up to 3 hours of talk-time, up to 140 hours of stand-by time and a 1400 mAh battery.

Intex Aqua comes pre-loaded with popular games such as Angry Birds, Talking Tom, Fruit Ninja, etc. This device is available in Black and White colors.
