We have a good news for those, who were eagerly waiting for the launch of HTC Desire HD in India. This handset was announced back in September, and it seems that, the powerful Desire HD smartphone is expected to launch during late-December in India. HTC Desire HD is powered by the Android 2.2 (FroYo) operating system and it allows you to access more than 100,000 apps from the Android Market.

The popular online retailer, Flipkart is currently taking pre-orders for the HTC Desire HD smartphone. This handset comes with a 4.3 inch touchscreen display with 800 × 480 pixels resolution, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, Wi-Fi, 3G connectivity, 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, HD (720p) video recording, 768 RAM, 1.5 GB internal memory, 32 GB expandable memory, 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio and more.
