Blackberry Pearl 3G Launched in India

Research In Motion (RIM) has launched two new 3G phones Pearl 9100 and Pearl Pearl 9105 in India. The phones have similar hardware, however only the Pearl 9100 has a full QWERTY keyboard, whereas the Pearl 9105 has a numeric keypad.

RIM seems to be in a launch frenzy with it launching several new phones in the Indian market including the Blackberry 9700 which was launched for Rs. 31,900, Blackberry Storm for Rs. 31,990 and Blackberry Curve 8530 for Rs. 18,990.

The Blackberry Pearl 3G phone has a 3.2 Megapixel camera and also has a 256MB flash memory which can be expanded to 32GB using a microSD card. The phone also supports Bluetooth and other interesting features.

Out of the two phones launched only the Blackberry Pearl 9100 has a 20 key QWERTY keyboard. The Pearl 9105 only has a numeric keyboard unlike other Blackberry models. Full specifications and details of the Blackberry Pearl 3G can be viewed on the official RIM site here.
