Acer Liquid Metal Launched In India For Rs.20,500

Acer Liquid Metal was announced by the company, back in October. This handset has been finally launched in India. Acer Liquid Metal runs on the Android 2.2 (FroYo) operating system and it comes with a 3.6-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display, 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 5 megapixel camera and so on. This device have also won the Japan’s Good Design Award for its well designed product feature.

Announcing the launch, Mr.S.Rajendran, Chief Marketing officer, Acer India, said, We have always enhanced our product portfolio keeping consumer needs in mind. Powered by a new breed of processors, the Android platform and wireless connectivity, Acer Liquid Metal enables fast and efficient web browsing while providing a host of other unique features that makes it an ideal Smartphone. We will be launching more smartphones in the near future to meet with the growing demands of our consumers.

Acer Liquid Metal features a 3.6 inch curved touchscreen display with 800 × 480 pixels resolution, 800 MHz Snapdragon processor, Android 2.2 (FroYo) OS, Breeze UI, Wi-Fi, 3G Connectivity, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, HD (720p) video recording, Dolby Surround technology, EQ profiles, Dynamic Bass Boost, Push Mail, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, 3.5mm audio jack, MicroSD card slot, 32GB expandable memory, 8GB MicroSD card included, GPS with A-GPS and a 1500 mAh battery.

Acer Liquid Metal is available in three different colors – Silver, Brown and Tiffany Blue. The phone also supports DLNA and Mobile AP. This handset comes with a price tag of Rs.20,500.
