Infibeam Launches Pi2 With Wi-Fi And Touchscreen

Almost a year back Infibeam had made the headlines after it unveiled India’s first desi e-book reader. Infibeam Pi was totally manufactured in India and was posed to be a competitor for Amazon’s Kindle in India. Well, Infibeam has now launched the next version of Pi. Titled Pi2, this new device looks amazing as it now sports a touch screen and also has a built-in wi-fi for internet connectivity.

Here are a few salient features of the new Infibeam Pi2:

  • Screen 6″ E Ink Vizplex with Resistive Touch & Epson Display controller screen
  • Weighs 235 grams and is just 1cm thick
  • Has a Built-in Wi-Fi
  • e-book formats supported include PDF, EPUB, HTML, TXT, MOBI, DOC
  • Has 2GB Internal Memory which expandable up to 32GB.

The Pi2 retails for Rs. 15000. However, you can buy the Infibeam Pi2 for Rs. 12000 directly from the website.
