Twitpic is a image sharing service, which allows you to quickly upload images for sharing with your Twitter friends and family. Twitpic is very closely associated with Twitter accounts.

If you are a Flickr user, you can now migrate images from your TwitPic account to Flickr with a service called Twitpickr.

To import or migrate your images from TwitPic to Flickr, you will need to follow the steps listed below.

Step 1: Enter your twitter username and click on the start button in Twitpickr interface.

Step 2: Twitpickr will show you a list of existing images in your TwitPic account, select the ones you want to import to your Flickr account.

Step 3: Once you have made your selections, click on the upload button, this should take you to the Flickr authorization page, where you will have to give permission to Twitpickr to be able to access your Flickr account.

Click on the “OK, I’LL ALLOW IT” button to permit Twitpickr to access your twitter account, you can revoke this permission once the import process has completed.

Note: You may need to login to your Flickr account, if you have not already done so.

Step 4: You will be redirected to Twitpickr page, where you have to click on the Upload button once again.

Step 5: Once Twitpickr has imported all the images from your TwitPic account to Flickr, you will see a message, telling you that the import process has completed.

Step 6: Navigate to your Flickr account to verify that all your images have been imported.

Step 7: This is a optional step, where you can revoke the permissions given to Twitpickr, Go to the Flickr Third-party applications page (you will need to be signed in to your Flickr account) and revoke the permissions for Twitpickr.

Twitpickr is definitely a service you should use, if you have been regularly uploading and sharing images through Twitpic and want to move them all to your Flickr account, without having to reupload them to Flickr.
