Skip Ads on YouTube by Refreshing the Page

Online video sites like and Hulu are a rage, however, they also come with an annoyance where you have to wait for several seconds or minutes while an advertisement plays before you can actually watch the video.

However, there is a workaround which will allow you to skip an advertisement or commercial on YouTube by refreshing the page. To skip ads on YouTube, just refresh the video page you are on and the video will automatically start playing, this will save you a good 20-25 seconds on a faster connection.

The good news is that YouTube will be introducing a feature where they will allow users to skip ads using a button in near future. Till then the F5 button is your friend.
