This is all very beautiful and it does make Windows XP look like Vista but if your main concern is with performance I don't see how adding all of this stuff to your OS is going to increase it's booting time, for example. What really pisses me off in XP is that it takes forever to boot up and then, when you actually load the OS it takes forever to load all the crap that's on your system startup. This would only add to that painful wait.

I'm surprised at how similar to Vista you can make XP look. Best of both worlds for most users! :)

I quite like the XP look and am not too happy with vista. I guess my comfort zone is threatened by vista.

Vista has "Add to Quick Launch" on the context menu of Windows Explorer.
To add this to Windows XP, see...

Adding the Add to Quick Launch context menu http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/219/1/Adding-the-Add-to-Quick-Launch-context-menu-option-in-Windows-XP.html

Alternatively, you could use...
Add Quick Launch to Send To menu
http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/add-quick-launch-create-shortcut-option-to-the-send-to-menu-in-windows-xpvista/

The second option above will create a shortcut to a folder, the first option will not.

Both are .vbs modules. You might want to modify the .vbs (you can use notepad.exe) to exclude the (shortcut), as I did.
