		<description>That's exactly what I thought at first. It's easier just to use the calendar on my phone and set up an appointment, with a custom ring and everything.

However, the good thing about this solution is that it's redundant -- you can set up multiple reminders, including emails and pop-ups.

So, if you lose your phone, or forget to charge it, or leave it at home (all entirely possible), or whatever, this solution makes it possible to get reminded via multiple channels. The email reminder (for example) is there as a backup.

So the whole exercise wasn't totally worthless! :)</description>
