gtalk the instant messenger service has started to shed its inhibitions of being a plain im client and has added features to its new clients other than the existing voice and text base services.

 the newer version of gtalk now has avtaars and themes, which are similar in kind of the things msn and yahoo! messengers have.

    Any idea which is the latest version of gtalk? It will be great even if it is a beta version
