Google today announced on their official blog that Google Sites which had launched if February 2008 for Google Apps users is now available to the public.

If you have been waiting to build your own site from scratch here is a good opportunity to do it.

    Hmm.

    sites.google.com/robots.txt:
    Disallow: /

    So, google bot is not visitng this sites.
    Is it good or bad?

    Well Google sites comes with a catch, there are no SEO benifits for you in using them.

    Joined google sites 12 hours back,they have a long URL,not pretty sure about its potential but yeah everyone like google product as it is Free :-)

    Google continue top promote free services in the internet. I like some sevices as GMail and Google Maps. I hope Google sites will be useful for users.
