recently i read an article on digg ^[1] where it was listed that the list of companies microsoft has aquired over a period of time but i felt another notable site should also find a mention on the list that has 87 domains ^[2] as of today listed under one ip.

no wonder that company is google, you can view the list here. i am still digging for the sites yahoo has now.

though google has not gone on a spree to but out companies, here are few of the companies either google or microsoft have bought out for their new onslaught.

writely ^[3] google

sketchup ^[4] - google

onfolio ^[5] - microsoft

isolatr - yahoo (they took off the bottom line that its a yahoo company the next day i read the article and say bode instead , but i still feel yahoo has bought it out)
