google is working on a new product google drive through which a user can store files and save it in the virtual drive and then can see and download it anywhere.

google has aquired writely a ajax based word processing solution which allows you create and store word files online without the need for any installation and also upload files from your desktop to their site and edit it there.

writely has stopped new signups and have started a invitation only signups till they move to google sysytems.

this clearly shows google is making the most using on ajax as most the offerings of google are using ajax based applications

google has aquired writely to plug it into the google drive, which will then allow a user to create and save word files directly from your browser.

in this day of heavy licensing from microsoft i am sure google with their products are on a larger mission to kill bill :) .

i am eagerly looking forward to using this product, as it will be great to have a web-based document created integrated in the browser itself.
