Gmail to Get Snazzier Soon
By on May 19th, 2008

A few days back we talked about a theme for Gmail which would help you make Gmail a bit more snazzier. Well that dream may soon come true for Gmail without use of any extensions or stylesheets.

Philipp Lenssen from Google Blogoscoped has picked up some reliable dope on Gmail getting themes in near future.

A source is telling me that Gmail will get themes custom layouts to personalize Google’s web mail client. According to the source, the launch of this may happen within the next months. There will be 12 themes to pick from, according to this information, like a black-and-green terminalview, as well as a flowery view.

Let’s hope Gmail rolls this out quickly as I am dying to try out new themes rather than the same old boring look I have been seeing for last few years.
