The Nintendo Wii console, with its cutting edge motion sensored gaming, revolutionized the gaming industry when it was released back in 2006. Even though other manufacturers have since followed suit, Nintendo continues to outsell both the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360. Here are five of the top Wii games on the market today.

  1. Super Mario Galaxy 2

At first glance, Super Mario Galaxy 2 may appear to be very similar to its predecessor but this sequel has made  jaded gamers sit up and take notice. While it uses the same basic concept, engine and controls, it offers much more of what made the original game so popular and plenty of features that are brand new, from devious new level challenges to fresh gameplay mechanics, a vibrant artistic design and an outstanding musical score. Although the game is accessible to players of all skill levels, hard core gamers can unlock additional challenges within the established levels, for a truly fulfilling gaming experience.  Super Mario Galaxy 2 is so entertaining; its sights and sounds so enthralling, that it’s easy to lose yourself in the iconic plumber’s galaxy for hours on end and be eager to return again and again.
