While it does seem like I go gaga over every video game I have ever played (there are notable exceptions such as Prototype; that was a lousy game) To The Moon evokes this strange warm feeling reserved for a wonderfully narrated book, and on occasion, a lovely artsy movie in which Jim Carrey plays a serious role. Yes, To The Moon reminds me strongly of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind more than, say, Memento (whose influence is also reminiscent in this video game) and I will tell you why.

Gemini Rue is a beautifully crafted point n’ click adventure game from Wadjet Eye Studios. Its reminiscent of Blade Runner and Beneath a Steel Sky in a cyberpunk world that oozes atmosphere. Read more about Gemini Rue after the break.

EA, just like Sony a few days ago, has put in a binding clause in the ToS for its digital distribution platform Origin. If you accept that ToS, you will waive your rights to sue Origin and EA for any sort of damage you incur while using it. Suffice to say that this ToS binder is a really poor show from EA as well as Sony.

IceFrog, the developer of the upcoming tower defense game Dota 2 is a real cool guy. Not only does he make some really fantastic mods (the original Dota to be precise), but he makes changes to beta plans to make them accessible to all the gamers clawing to get at the video game.
