Namco Bandai to Distribute The Witcher 2 in Europe, Asia-Pacific
By on May 25th, 2010

The highly anticipated sequel to the legendary RPG The Witcher (yes it’s been just a few years since The Witcher released, but the game is by far one of the greatest RPGs I’ve ever played, so it entails the term legendary) will be released in the EMEA and Asia Pacific by Namco Bandai Partners S.A.S.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is scheduled for release in 2011 and will be based on a proprietary engine that has been built from bottom to top. The game’s breathtaking visuals are a testament to the developers at CD Projekt RED as is the non-linear gameplay. The morally ambiguous storyline that involved thought-provoking quests as well as grey choices whose consequences affected the player several gaming hours after the choice was made will make for a thoroughly engaging and mature story.

Considering just how amazing the first game was, I cannot wait for the second installment!
